Utah wildlife bridge

Shiras Moose
Shiras moose is the only species of moose in Utah. Even though they are the smallest species of moose they can still weigh close to one ton. Moose are using the bridge pretty regularly. Black Bears
Black bears are one of the most elusive animals in Utah. Black bears can weigh 100 to 650 pounds. Black bears are not always black. Their fur color can be blond, black, and cinnamon color. Black Bears are omnivores and need to eat 10 to 20 pounds a day to stay healthy.
Porcupines
Porcupines usually weigh around 30 pounds and are the largest rodent in the world. Porcpines have quils on their back and tail with soft fur everywhere else.
Mule Deer
Mule deer are one of the most common animals in Utah. Mule deer usually weigh around 100 to 300 pounds and are about 2 and 1/2 feet to 3 feet tall at their shoulder. If you would like to learn more about mule deer click below!
Elk
Elk like moose are one of the many animals we are glad to see using the wildlife bridge! Elk can weigh between 500 and 750 pounds. They can also be 6 to 8 feet long!
Bobcats
A few bobcats can be found using the wildlife bridge. These cats are not very big but are really fun to see. Bobcats are mostly using this bridge at night!
